RERA REGISTRATION GUIDELINES:

Project Registration fee

To conduct the real estate business, a developer shall pay a registration fee while applying for registration of his project with the RERA authority. He/she can pay the registration fee NEFT or RTGS System or any other digital transaction mode. The RERA Maharashtra project registration fee is Rs. 10 per square meter or minimum of Rs. 50,000 only and maximum up to Rs. 10,00,000 only.

Fee for application for the time extension of Real Estate Project

A developer can apply for the time extension for the completion of his real estate project based on the on the area of land proposed to be developed by paying fee of Rs 10 per square meter subject to a minimum of Rs. 50,000 only and a maximum of Rs. 10,000,00 only. He/she can pay the registration fee NEFT or RTGS System or any other digital transaction mode.

Fee for withdrawing application for registration of the project

The promoter may apply for withdrawal of application for registration of the real estate project before the expiry of the period of 30 days of its submission to Authority provided that under sub-section (1) of section 5. In such cases, the registration fee to the extent as specified by the regulations framed by the Authority will be retained as administrative charges towards processing of application by the Authority and the remaining amount will be refunded to the promoter within such period as may be specified in such regulations.

Agent Registration fee

The real estate agent has to pay a registration fee at the time of application for registration with the RERA through NEFT or RTGS System or any other digital transaction mode. The applicant has to pay a sum of Rs 10,000 in case of the being an individual or sum of Rs 1,00,000 in case the applicant other than an individual.

Fee for the renewal of the registration of real estate agent

A real estate agent to whom registration has been granted under section 9 may, make an application for renewal of his registration, at least sixty days prior to the expiry of the registration by filling up “Form J”. The agent has to pay a sum of Rs 10,000 in case of the being an individual or sum of Rs 1,00,000 in case the applicant other than an individual.
