Code Of Criminal Procedure, 1973
Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 came into force on 1st April, 1974. It also gives machinery for the investigation of crime, harm of criminals, collection of evidence, determination of mens rea or innocence of the accused and also the determination of punishment of the guilty. 15. Code Of Criminal Procedure ( Maharashtra Amendment) Act, 2015
Section 156 adds no Magistrate, order investigation against public a public servant in respect of discharging his official duty and also amends Section 190, no magistrate take cognizance of any offence committed by public servant while discharging their duty.
